Millennium Hotel Cupcake Classes

(Photographs taken from Sharon)

So I was invited to another Millennium Hotel event where as this one was a cupcake class at the beautiful Kensington Hotel. Not only did I enjoy having a look around room as the hotel is so luxurious I had so much fun making the cupcake decorations. I cannot cook one single bit so actually coming out with amazing designs that are really simple was super fun. I went along with my friend Sharon and we really got the hang on making roses, I left there wanting to make a massive wedding cake however that did not happen.

Millennium Hotel actually host cupcake classes such as this and has so many different rooms for a variety number of guests. The hotel really took me by surprise, it was huge with so many different rooms and views. There are rooms to suit everyone with this hotel having a more modern simplistic view where as the previous hotel I went to had a more work environment feel. If you haven't checked out Millennium Hotel and their hotels around the world I would definately give it a look!

Atelier Cologne Event

I think the photographs speak for itself in how elegant and beautiful the products are! The other evening me and some blogger friends went to the Atelier Cologne event in Liberty and I was really surprised. I hadn't heard much about the brand before but after the talk I was completely drawn in especially to the thought and manufacturing of the scents. Atelier Cologne created the idea of Cologne Absolue. It is entirely a different fragrence with the mix of citruses and the traditional ingredients of a cologne.

The bottles are made from precious metals, the real gold and silver add personality to the bottles as well as the real leather travel cases which you can get engraved for free. I think this is such a nice touch as this is now an accessory not just an invisible one. Behind each scent is a story which I think is also beautiful. So much thought has gone into the brand and products which is lovely to see. There really was a scent for everybody in the room as well, some fruitier than others.

I was really blown away by the brand and how much thought had gone into a single product, I will definately be looking into the brand more as they create beautiful personal gifts for people. Have you heard of the brand before?

Nail Art Tattoos

Skin Art - Nail Art Tattoos*

If you know me, I love my nails, I love painting them different colours and designing and decorating them. When I was younger I would always set up a pretend salon in my room and do leopard print nails on my cousins. When I found out about these Nail Art Tattoos from Skin Art I knew I had to try them. The amazing people at Skin Art kindly sent these out for me to try and I've had an embarrassing yet good experience with them.At £5.99 you can't go wrong, they arent' the cheapest of things but you have a great range of different designs and they last up to a week on nails!

So, you may ask why embarrassing, I first opened the packet and was so confused how to apply them. I cut them out, applied water as if they were a tattoo, I tried heat, literally everything! Until I found out they were literally a sticker and you peeled them off, well done Gemma... They are so easy to apply, even children can do it! You simply peel it off from the sheet and apply onto the desired nail. To maximise the amount of time it will stay on just apply a clear top coat and tada!

I really love these nail art tattoos, so simple, easy and effective. If you're looking to update your nails and give them a special touch I definately recommend giving them a try, the designs are for everyone and are so easy to apply. They're stocked in boots as well as buying on their website!

Have you tried these before?

Lovedrobe Wishlist

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

How have I only just come across Lovedrobe?! I'm always on the lookout for new brands that stock from a size 12+ yet is still aimed at people in their 20's. As you can probably tell from my posts I am addict of Simplybe but Lovedrobe has completely wowed me. I've had a look on their site and these are just some of the things I need in my wardrobe, I really love the tunics on the left, I do love a bit of monochrome, they are so on trend and perfect to put with a pair of leggings and boots. I'm always on the lookout for pretty tunics as when I become a teacher I will be living in those kind of things so it's nice to find some fashionable ones. Dresses are a big yes for me and these are all so beautiful, I particular love the midi dress on the right, I don't yet own a midi dress so this is a possibility.

What I also love about lovedrobe is the affordability, you see those tunics on the left, they're only £15.00! You see that midi dress, it's only £18.00! That's what I love, clothes that don't break the bank yet are so wearable. I strongly suggest you guys check out Lovedrobe, I'm really impressed and I know what I will be doing for the rest of my day!

Have you heard of lovedrobe before?

OOTD - Black and Yellow

Top - Scarlott & Jo*
Leggings - Scarlott & Jo*
Bag - Brandvillage*
Belt - Forever 21

Please excuse these poor excuses of a picture, the weather has gotten to me and all I want to do is lie infront of a fan. I tried to get family to take pictures but they have no idea how to work my camera so I had to set it all up in the heat and these are the best ones. Also, you can't tell but these are wetlook/leather leggings! So recently I have been sent out a lot of clothing, the top and leggings combo are from Scarlett and Jo, I had never really heard of them but they do some amazing pieces! This top is my favourite, a little to hot for the current weather but the mesh makes it look dressy and the actual style of it extremely flattering, perfect for any hourglass shapes out there! The leggings feel great however you need to defo size up, my sister is 2 sizes smaller than me and she just about fit into these so size up girls! I paired it with this yellow belt from Forever 21 that I am IN LOVE with, I wear it with everything possible. It really brightens up the outfit too.

Since getting this bag it has lived with me, it is so on trend, perfect size and goes with everything. It actually is really good quality too for only £24.00. Right now this is the perfect bag for it, it has a few compartments, sits comfortably on the shoulder while also being adjustable. It's black too which I also tend to go for in bags so it can go with everything. I can't seem to find a link to the bag however here is one which is pretty much identical.

Elemis - Skin Nourishing Body Scrub Review

Elemis - Skin Nourishing Body Scrub*

Personally, I think it's essential to have a decent body scrub during the Summer season. You will naturally show a bit more flesh than normal and I personally want my skin looking as best as it can therefore I like to invest in a decent body scrub and use it maybe 1-2 a week. As Elemis asked if I liked to review their Body Scrub I was surely not going to turn it down, especially as I'm so close to going to Egypt and want to get the best skin possible in order for me to tan better (go red).

This scrub uses natural exfoliators such as rice and bamboo to polish the skin and making it refreshed. Sweet almond, macadamia and wheat germ oils are included to condition the skin leaving your skin soft and smooth! The smell of the product reminds me of the beach with a perfumed scent to it, I can't describe it but it is nice! Like I said I use it 1-2 a week applying it with either an exfoliating glove or cloth in circular motions all over my body. I then rinse it off and use a shower gel of my choice, usually dove!

The particals aren't too harsh on my skin yet it exfloiates my skin really well. I love the results, the scent and the texture of the product, definately my go to scrub at the moment. Usually I use the soap and glory scrub but since running out this has been my replacement. For a student it can be pricey at £28.50 however you are getting 200ml worth of product and it really does pay off. If I had the money to buy this all the time then I definately would as it's something to invest it. If you're looking for a scrub I suggest you treat yourself and try out this one..

What's your 'go to' scrub?

Witch Mattifying Moisturiser Review

Witch Mattifying Moisturiser*

Not sure if you guys know or not but I'm a part of Witch's Flawless Friends which means I get to review and try out all their new products. I'm pretty excited about this as I love Witch as a brand, I think it does wonders for teenage skin yet not many teenagers know about it therefore I rave about it like mad! I love the packaging of this products it's sleek and bright! So this products claims to be a light forumla specifically designed for oily/combination skin. It helps combat shine, offers 24 hour hydration and even gives SPF 15 protection. Everybody loves a product with a bit of protection in right?

I'm always on the hunt for moisturisers as I go through them like there's no tomorrow, I really love this moisturiser especially as it's mattifying during this hot Summer days. Who would of thought I actually wrote that? It's also very light and I notice it doesn't leave any residue on the skin which is a big thing for me, I like to put moisturiser on without having sticky skin after. As all Witch products it contains Witch Hazel Extract which is another thing I love about their products, I find it really clears my skin up, especially the Blemish Gel which goes with me everywhere (thanks skin!).

I think this is a perfect day moisturiser and also perfect to take on holiday as it's a good size, nice and light plus it gives you a bit of protection. I can see myself wearing this in the evenings in Egypt just for a bit of glow! Overall I'm very impressed with this product, it definately lives up to my expectations for a Witch product and can't wait to tell all my sister's friends to start using this!

Have you tried any Witch products?

Birch Box July Review

Birch Box July Edition*

My Birch Box virginity has officially been taken! I have seen these type of boxes all over the internet and blogosphere but had never been tempted to try one before. As soon as BirchBox got in touch with me asking if I wanted to review their July box I couldn't say no as the excitment got to me too much. Every month a box of random full sized and sample sized products are sent out to your home for £10.00  + £2.95 P+P. Depending on the box you could bag yourself a right deal as you are not only getting the products for a much cheaper price but you are also getting to experiment and try all the products on the market. Some of them in my birch box I had never heard of before yet I have really enjoyed using.

The products I got in my products you can see above and to be honest I'm really happy with my selection. The only thing I'm confused about is that I didn't receive theBalm cosmetics blush even though it states it on the card, am I meant to receive this? My favourite so far is probably the Laura Geller Eyeliner in purple, I would not even think about ever buying purple eyeliner, black all the way for me. However recently I've been wanted to make my eyes stand out and this purple makes my eyes look so green it's unreal, it's a really lovely shade and great to wear in summer when you don't want such a heavy eye.

I'm still in the process of trying out the products however if I feel one of them needs to be raved about I will do a review, or if you would like a review on a product let me know and I will blog about it for you guys :)

Have you ever tried Birch Box? Would you like to see more of these reviews?
