Christmas/New Years Outfits LBD with a twist

Dress - Matalan*
Belt - Primark

Cardigan - Primark
Dress - Debenhams*
Necklace - ASOS

Bracelet - Jon Richards*

Dress - Simplybe*
Cardigan - Primark

So this season is the season to party, oh and celebrate of course and it's the perfect time to find that perfect dress. Here are a few of my favourite dresses that have been kindly gifted to me to feature on my blog, I can't decide which one is my favourite! What one do you love the most?

I love the Matalan LBD with a twist, it has small diamonds/glitter scattered on the dress giving is a glamorous feel, I also love the cap sleeves as they're flattering and I personally feel really comfortable in them. The neckline has a deep V shaped mesh part which is revealing so I ended up teaming it with a simply black vest underneath and I didn't feel comfortable without a bra!

The next dress is from Debenhams and I believe is on sale at the moment! It's so beautiful, I don't have a dress like it, I love the mesh on this dress as it isn't too revealing, the gold and black colour looks better in person and I love the floaty skater style of this dress. This dress is perfect for any occasion dressed up or down, I can't wait to wear it again!

Last but not least this beautiful lace patterned dress from Simplybe, it is so elegant and flattering and the diamonds around neck line really make this dress special. I havn't really added any accessories with this dress as I think the gems around the neck act as a statement necklace! The dress is super comfortable and although I got this dress in my usual size it came up slightly too big so I would recommend sizing down!

Sorry I havn't been blogging lately, this holiday has been crazy for me as I've met up with old school friends and family and just generally working a lot more, my first essay's for University are complete and I start teaching in January how scary?! I hope you guys had a lovely holiday and enjoy my outfit posts.

My Festive Night Out Outfit

As you guys know I'm a part of Witches Flawless Friends and this months challenge is to put together my festive night out outfit. I came up with this little number and is something I would wear if I had a party to go to this christmas! If you know my I am a massive black dress lover and probably 90% of my dresses are black however none of them have sequins so I definatly have room in my wardrobe for this one! To brighten up the outfit I paired it with some bright red wedges over heels as I will be doing a lot of dancing and want to be super comfortable, these amazing pair are from Amazon! I thought the Beguilded shade from Topshop would look better with this outfit as it gives more of a sophisticated look instead of clashing with the bright red wedges. I think added a plain black and gold clutch and a lovely statement necklace which I will definatly be getting my hands on very soon!

What do you think of my outfit?

Remington Keratin Therapy Collection

I'm really loving Remington's Keratin Therapy collection at the moment, if I hadn't asked for some hair tools for christmas already then these would definatly be at the top of my list. Not only being amazing for your hair they also are extremely reasonably priced for example the Curling Wand is now £24.99! The barrel is coated in Keratin Micro Conditions to give you healthy looking curls. It also have five different heat settings so you can basically choose five different curling styles in one wand! I'm also loving the Straighteners at the moment, they are now only £59.99 from £89.99 which is actually a reasonable when it comes to decent straighteners these days. These are my favourite technical wise as again the plates are Advanced Keratin Ceramic plates with also an Exclusive Heat Protection Sensor which detects the level of moisture in your hair and alters the temperature, how cool?! I think those two products are my favourite out of all of them but I wouldn't say no to their Hairdryer, Paddle Brush, and Round Brush (hint hint).

In the video below Chris Appleton shows how the Remington Keratin Therapy collection can solve hair problems we meet in every day life from how to freshen up curls to ensuring hair is glossy from roots to ends! There is also a chance to win products from the Keratin Therapy range, read more about the competition here.

Arm Candy

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

I'm loving braclets at the moment, or as some people call it 'arm candy'. I really think they add an extra touch to any outfit. Here I've picked these bracelets from 3 of my favourite sites at the moment for arm candy, arn't they beautiful?! I think my favourites would be the Twig Bracelet (2) and the Spike Shamballa (3) they will just give edge to any outfit especially the shamballa.

Number 1 really reminds me of an elegant bracelet and with Christmas coming up it will make a perfect combination with any party dress to add some glamour and elegance. I can really imagine Number 4 with an all black outfit to goth it up and add a bit of quirkiness to the outfit. I love Number 5 simply for it having glitter and being Rose Gold, I'm still loving rose gold at the moment! Number 6 is unusual and that's exactly why I love it, it's a more unusual twist on Shamballa's and I love the colour of the gem!

What's your favourite?
