Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleanser Review

Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleanser* RRP £11.00

My skin recently hasn't been to the best of its standard and I've forever been looking for a good scrub that will really benefit my skin. When I was asked to Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleanser I didn't even hesitate. The Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleanser is as it states, a 3 in 1 cleanser. You can use it as a cleanser, scrub or even a face mask, how cool right?! I probably use this cleanser at least once a week either as a scrub or mask mainly as I'm way too addicted to my Liz Earle Cleanser although this would definatly be my back up. I really like the feel of the scrub as it isn't too harsh on my skin but makes me skin feel really soft afterwards. I think my main use of this product is as a scrub as I barely have time to do a mask in the week so when in the shower I grab this and cleanse/scrub my face! For only £11.00 I think this is an amazing product especially as you get 3 products in 1. I would say my skin has definatly improved and felt much more softer recently, I have had a few break outs so the right balance for me is to use Liz Earle daily and this at least once a week, it will vary for different skin types. What I love about this product is it does aim to suit your skin type so everybody can use it! Definatly recommending this to friends as a scrub!

CyberCandy - Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme

I am officially a part of CyberCandy Bloggers Family and I'm so excited! CyberCandy sells literally every type of candy you can think of and isn't just online! You can shop by county, type of candy and brand! Now I've always been intrigued by American chocolate and their candy so I went for their well known Hersheys bar with a twist, a Cookies 'n' Cream twist, and of course I couldn't settle for their average size bar! I would say the size of this bare is bigger than your large Cadbury bar and much tastier! Of course as soon as I got this delivered my family became my best friends haha, its a really good size for sharing and I think we all agreed that this chocolate bar is amazing! If it was in my local newsagents then I would buy this chocolate over any other one. You can actually taste the Cookie and Cream in the chocolate.

I would say these are even great gifts to buy for people as they come beautifully boxed. If I ever had a friend some a specific country who was feeling home sick this is the first thing I would go to buy them. I'm intrigued with the gift boxes and will probably be putting a few on my list for friends who are candy lovers, especially because some of the candy you get in them are rare to find! I definatly recommend trying out some of the stuff on their site, they're reasonably priced too! Have you ever tried Hersheys?

Witch Flawless Friends Meet Up #2

So I finally got to attend the second meet up of Witch's Flawless Friends and it was amazing. It was based in the Soho Hotel which is such a beautiful place and I definatly had a little nose about as there was a cinema next door to us! We got the chance to meet the amazing Donna Dawson who is a psychologist and have a chat with her about confidence affects us. It was such an amazing chat and she is such a down to earth person, I will never forget to wear red on a day when I'm tired now as Donna Dawson says it makes you look fresh (note to self invest in plenty of red clothes). Also the blue is a very calming colour which is why Air Hostess', Doctors etc wear there, fun fact of the day! It was such an amazing evening, I hung out with Shope, Shore and Claire for a spot of shopping after as well, these girls are literally my long lost sisters! Overall I had such an amazing day while having tea in the Soho Hotel thanks to the Witch Team, can't wait for the next meet up!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - Rose and Lavender Edition

A few weeks ago I was kindly sent out the Special Edition Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. This edition is exactly like the Original Cleanse and Polish just with a new twist - it has the addition of rose and lavender essential oils, the calming fragrance will help you unwind at the end of the day. Even though this is slightly more than the Original Cleanse and Polish at £19.75, every £2 per purchase will go to The Prince's Trust's, also I find that this bottle is a lot larger than the Original Cleanse and Polish so at the same time of donating to charity you are getting more for your money!

When I hear Rose and Lavender I don't think it would have been my cup of tea although the fragrance isn't overwhelming and is quite therapeutic, I really like the concept of this new Cleanse and Polish and as always, is my favourite cleanser ever! I will definatly be purchasing this will I still can!

Van Mildert Shirts

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

I don't think I have worn trousers for the past two years until I brought a pair of jeans for myself around a month ago now and since then I havn't found myself out of them! I used to live in skirts and felt very limited with what kind of shoes and tops I can wear, since having jeans I have become a shoeaholic as well as a shirtoholic! While browsing on a designer website called Van Mildert I picked out some lovely detailed shirts (my new thing). I especially love the Forever Unique green shirt which also has studs on it, I havn't got a top this colour and it will make the outfit really stand out if I pair this with a pair of plain jeans and plain shoes. What is your favourite shirt?

Darling and Beloved Event

About a week ago now I was invited to the Darling and Beloved Press Day which showcased their Christmas 2012 and SS13 Collection. I met the beautiful Maria who came along with me and also dived into the delicious strawberries! As Maria has found it, I have a weak spot for dark colours and black dresses so I was literally in heaven when I saw their Christmas 2012, I have preordered a dress which is black and hopefully will be perfect for Christmas (I'll photograph it when it arrives)! I loved the colours for SS13 especially the purples and oranges, the collection was very me for the daytime! I think both collections really focused on detailing as you can see from the pictures I took, and is something I'm actually getting into lately. I'm normally looking for a chunky necklace to make a shirt more interesting but with this collection it's already added to the shirt! These two collections have really inspired me and got me way too excited for Christmas. I can't wait to see their collection online and get some of the pieces! You can find Darlings website here

What are the Best Jeans to Suit Your Body Shape?

Long and slender, short and curvy, pear-shaped or athletic, no matter what body shape we are, we
all love to wear jeans. However, there are certain styles of jeans that suit different shapes and sizes,
and whilst one particular style of jeans may flatter someone, they could look seriously unflattering
on someone else.
Take a look at what the best jeans to suit your body shape are.

Straight Leg Jeans
Straight leg jeans are one of the most versatile styles of jeans around. Unlike flared or boot cut jeans
that tend to make narrower figures appear even narrower; straight leg jeans can also make slighter
frames appear more proportionate. Likewise, if you’re top-heavy with protruding hips then straight
leg jeans can even out your figure to give your more balance.

Flared Jeans
Jeans with flared or boot-cut bottoms can go a long way in balancing out larger hips and making you
appear slimmer. Flared jeans take the eyes away from the top of the jeans as you tend to look at
the most noticeable part of the jeans, the bottom, and they can make women with pear-shaped or
hourglass figures appear more proportioned. For more petite women and those with slender frames, flared jeans can have a tendency to swamp a figure making a woman appear too slender or slight.

Skinny Jeans
Skinny jeans that are moulded deliberately tight onto the leg have become highly fashionable in
recent years and their popularity shows no sign of abating. Slimmer figures have no problem fitting
into and looking great in a tight pair of skinny jeans, although this style is by no way confined to the
size tens and under. Curvier figures can also look great in a pair of tight fitting skinny jeans if they are worn in the right way. For example, larger, curvier women can look fantastic in a pair of skinny jeans with a floating
top such as a tunic or dress worn over the top.

Low rise jeans
Low rise jeans are fairly restricting in what type of figure can wear them because unless you have
no love handles whatsoever, low rise jeans are likely to show off every unwanted lump and bump
on the waist and bottom area. Whilst low rise jeans can look fantastic on smaller frames, curvier
women may want to opt for high rise options to hide any problem areas they may have.

Tucci Winter Picks

I think we can all agree that winter has come a little bit early this year and I am definatly freezing whenever I step outside my house. I'm climbing through my draws and cupboards to find a thick enough coat, scarf and hat to keep me warm but I have nothing that I really like at the moment. I came across Tucci which is a designer clothing website and spotted some stuff that I love and that will definatly keep me warm in the winter. I particularly love the tweed coat as I havn't has something like it before! This year also I've become a big fan of hats and is something I will definatly be wearing in the winter, so far I have a little one from Primark but this fluffy hat from Tucci is something I have my eye on and will hopefully keep my head warm!

What is your favourites?

Beauty UK Nail Wraps

Beauty UK Nail Wraps - London Town and Snow Leopard*

I got these nail wraps sent to me a while ago from Beauty UK and I was so excited to learn how to actually put on nail wraps, as you can see from the photograph I'm not an expert just yet but I'm practising! I was sent out two different designs, one called London Town and the other called Snow Leopard, I really love London Town because each nail is different and unique and it was perfect timing for the olympics! Snow leopard is also a favourite of mine as I have always wanted white nails but they have never come out that great so Snow Leopard fulfilled my dreams haha!

The actual wraps come with 20 stickers and a small nail file to file off the access of the wrap when applying them to your finger nails. The nail wraps are actually really strong and stay on for at least a week without looking messy, so I'm quite impressed! They do have a range of different sizes although I thought I had wide finger nails but the majority of these were too big. They were easy to cut down to size they just took a bit of practising to do as it can be quite fiddly. I do really like these nail wraps and I'm in love with the range of designs although I definatly need some practise - good job they have 20 in the pack!

If you're a bit of a nail lover like me then I recommend buying these and giving them a go, especially if you've never tried nail wraps before! They are really bold and stand out, easy method to impress your friends! What do you think of them?

OOTN - I know you care

(I'm looking extremely ginger in this picture for some reason!)
Shirt - H&M
Belt - Primark
Skirt - Debenhams*

Around a week ago I was sent out this skirt very kindly from Debenhams to style and be featured on their Minizine (keep at look out!). We all think straight away of an office outfit when we think black pencil skirt. I've tried to steer away from this idea but still keep a smart feel to the outfit. I've teamed this black pencil skirt with a bright blue shirt to add a pop of colour to the outfit and also rolled up the sleeved and tied the front of the shirt to give it more of a casual feel. No pencil skirt is complete without a belt so I've added this simple studded belt from Primark to cinch in the waist and add some bling! This skirt is too comfy to imagine, it's a ribbed jersey material and really flatters your body in a sophisticated yet stylish way! If I were to have brought a pencil skirt (and I was looking for one forever) then I would have definatly gone with this one! You could even dress it for a clubbing outfit or a formal interview which is what I love about this skirt!

Sorry I havn't been blogging much I have so much UNI work to do at the moment although I will be attending a few events soon so hopefully you guys can get some previews to that!
